Our materials reduce dependence on virgin glass fiber reinforcement and oil-based plastics in the production of fiber-reinforced polymers (FRP), cutting down on raw material use and CO2 emissions.

43 million tonnes of wind turbine blade material are expected to be discarded by 2050. However, initiatives like our own capitalize on what is seen as waste, transforming it into resources for a circular economy.

Our process significantly benefits both the environment and society. A greener future starts with today's actions.

FibeCycle’s technology offsets nearly 2 tonnes of CO2 per tonne of waste turbine material recycled. To put that in perspective, it would take 80 trees an entire year to absorb this amount of CO2, while even our small pilot plant can accomplish this in just one day. Our proprietary technology is based on a low-energy, mechanical recycling process that boasts a minimal carbon footprint.

Our process requires no water, harmful chemicals, nor pyrolytic techniques. Designed to be modular and scalable, it can be implemented globally.

We begin by crushing the blade, then sort the recovered fibers by length and grade for various applications, and finally combine them with engineering thermoplastics to produce ecoFRP.
