FibeCycle was founded to help address the issue of end-of-life wind turbine blade waste. Our solution provides a sustainable alternative that effectively manages the disposal of wind turbine blades, which are typically made of fiberglass and other composite materials. Instead of ending up in landfills or being incinerated, we recycle these blades to create ecoFRPs (fiber-reinforced polymers) that are building blocks for creating sustainable products.

Reclassifying Composite Materials as Recyclable

Fiberglass composites offer numerous advantages over other materials, most notably exhibiting a remarkably high strength-to-weight ratio for a low price. These remarkable properties make fiberglass highly suitable for diverse industrial applications. Recognizing the growing issue of fiberglass artifact waste, such as wind turbine blades in landfill, FibeCycle was founded to provide an end-to-end solution that transforms fiberglass waste into eco-materials for sustainable product creation. FibeCycle’s ecoFRP materials offer enhanced mechanical properties over with pure polymers, achieving industrial performance standards using less virgin material. 

We offer ecoFRP resins in pellet form for various industrial uses, and ecoFRP filament for the 3D printing industry.

FibeCycle eco-FRPs (Eco Fibre Reinforced Polymers), enhance strength and stiffness properties when combined with various polymers, making it possible to achieve desirable industry performance using less material, resulting in lower weight and more efficient use of resources. We offer eco-FRP as 3D printing filaments or pellets.
